Ended up using a Mark1 MX5 manifold as the Mark2.5 I had goes too far back in the engine bay. This then required the blocking of the EGR valve and I will have to add a sensor to keep the ECU happy.
I also picked up a padded steering wheel as my donor one was the airbag type, this then led my to modifying the clock spring on the steering column.
