Time to get the sump reduced, it won't have much taken off but looking at the scrapes it has collected so far I think anything will help.
Took me ages to get the sump off, you have to break the seal made by the sealant which would be easy out of the car but when in you can't quite get a tool on the join. Took a whole evening but sump is off, cleaned up and ready for the welders.

Sump is back and it looks like a good job by EWL in Northwich. They said they have done a few sump modifications in the past.
Painted the sump, badly, as I was rushing because I wanted to get everything tested over the weekend. I have booked a track day at Oulton Park next Friday and need to make sure everything is OK before the track.
Left the sump over night for the sealant to set and added oil Sunday morning, looks good, have oil pressure and no leaks so far, ran it to full temp then went for a couple of mile blast around the lanes, still no leaks so I think this one is done.
